Our course machine is a clean installation of 64-bit Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. It is a lightweight version of the original Ubuntu.

The settings of the VM:

  • OS: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (64-bit)

  • CPU: 2

  • Memory: 2 GB

  • Disk: 25 GB

  • GCC: 9.4.0

Then you can power your VM by clicking the black screen.

Click the 'csci3150-xxa', where xx should be a specific machine number for you
